Could Alabama football gain its fourth Rotary Lombardi Award winner in school history?
Dallas Turner, a junior outside linebacker, has been one of the best pass rushers in college football. He leads Alabama for sacks (seven), tackles for loss (10.5), and quarterback hurries with 10.
Turner will lead the Crimson Tide defense against one of the best offenses in the league on Saturday.
The South Florida native is looking to have a dominant showing against LSU. Turner is a semifinalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award.
The honor goes to the best offensive or defensive lineman who best demonstrates the character of Vince Lombardi. Alabama has three players in school history to win the honor. Cornelius Bennett (1986), Jonathan Allen (2016), and Will Anderson (2021).
