Jalen Milroe has a marquee stage set up Saturday in an SEC Western Division matchup against LSU.
He battles Jayden Daniels of the Tigers for an opportunity to outperform him at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and put the Crimson Tide in position to play for a Southeastern Conference Championship.
Milroe, a sophomore, has gotten better each week since the Tide’s loss to Texas. He’s totaled 18 touchdowns to five interceptions. The native Texan has been locked in for this game since the bye week.
Nick Saban was on the Pat McAfee Show, and he explained the Milroe’s mentality in practice.
”He’s had a really good week,” Saban to McAfee about Milroe.
Milroe is one of 35 semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.
Tide fans are excited to watch him show out.
