One of Nick Saban’s eyes has seen better days.
The Alabama head coach was spotted Thursday on the “Hey Coach & The Nick Saban Show” with blood in his right eye, and everyone wanted to know what happened. Saban explained why, and the answer made perfect sense.
“I go see Doc, comes to see me after practice today,” Saban said. “He looks at me and he said, ‘You’ve been coughing?’ I said no. He said, ‘You know you can get this from yelling?’ He said, ‘You’ve got it from yelling. There’s nothing wrong with you. You just got it from yelling. You busted a blood vessel in your eye from yelling too much.'”
Saban poked fun at himself when discussing his eye.
“It looks like I’ve been in a gang fight and my gang didn’t show,” said Saban.
