He was one of the best cornerbacks in the Nick Saban era, becoming a first-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. Surtain helped the Tide to two Southeastern Conference Championships (2018, 2020) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020. He is one of the best young defensive backs in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos, but Surtain was on the ESPN College GameDay set in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He returned to his Alma mater for Alabama’s matchup against LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium. CBS has the broadcast for 6:45 p.m. CT and Surtain is rolling with the Crimson Tide to handle the Tigers.

Surtain suffered one loss to LSU in his career. It came in 2019 in a shootout at BDS as LSU earned a 46-41 victory.

Alabama handed the Tigers a 55-17 defeat in the following season.

The winner of this matchup takes the SEC Wet.
