Following Alabama’s 42-28 win over LSU, head coach Nick Saban offered a few initial injury updates during his postgame press conference.
Middle linebacker Deontae Lawson and defensive back Jaylen Key both sustained injuries during the win over the Tigers but as of right now, Saban is not sure of the severity of them.
“One guy has an ankle, one guy has a quad,” Saban said. “I don’t know how bad the injuries are.”
Saban did not specify which player had which injury.
Lawson was replaced in the game by Jihaad Campbell who ended the game with three tackles. Stepping in for Key was Kristian Story who ended with one tackle.
