Former Alabama defensive back, Brian Branch thinks it is time to kick off the Heisman campaign for Jalen Milroe after he led the Crimson Tide to a win over LSU.

Milroe became the first Alabama quarterback to rush for four touchdowns in a single game in the 42-28 win over the Tigers. He finished the night with 155 rushing yards on 20 carries. He also completed 15 passes for 219 yards.
The Heisman Trophy has found its way to Tuscaloosa four times during the Nick Saban era. Bryce Young was the first Alabama quarterback and the last Crimson Tide player to win the award. Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry and DeVonta Smith won the award before Young.
Alabama has three regular-season games left and a possible trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship. The Texas product will have to put up some big numbers in those games to have a real shot at winning the award.
