The third College Football Playoff rankings of the 2023 season were revealed on Tuesday, with Alabama’s position going unchanged from the previous weeks.
The Crimson Tide was once again slotted at the No. 8 position in the latest rankings following its 49-21 win over Kentucky from a week ago.
Despite the lack of motion in the rankings, Alabama will likely still control its postseason destiny now that it has clinched the SEC West and will square off against Georgia in the SEC Championship in early December.
Until then, Alabama will continue to work towards Chattanooga which will travel to Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday.
