Jalen Milroe has an incredible story in college football.
He has developed from being the long shot to be Alabama’s starting quarterback to becoming one of the best playmakers in the nation. Milroe was benched in the Crimson Tide’s matchup against South Florida, but he used it as a learning opportunity.

The sophomore has been remarkable since returning to the starting job, propelling Alabama to a Southeastern Conference Championship appearance versus Georgia. He’s totaled 10 touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, including seven rushing touchdowns. Milroe has 28 total scores on the season, making him tenth all-time for a single season in school history for total touchdowns. The native Texan has 12 rushing scores, giving him the most of any quarterback in college football this year.

He is playing his best as a passer and runner right now. Milroe is a semifinalist for Maxwell and Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Year awards. He is also getting into conversations for the Heisman Memorial Trophy. Milroe leads the Crimson Tide’s offense against Chattanooga on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 11:00 a.m. CT.
