Alabama fans not buying Hugh Freeze’s comment of Auburn “in a fog” ahead of Iron Bowl

Auburn’s head coach Hugh Freeze addressed reporters on Monday after an embarrassing loss to New Mexico State.

According to Michael Casagrande of AL.com, Freeze said Auburn is “in a fog” because it did not show up at home versus the Aggies in a 10-31 defeat. The Tigers, who are 6-5, are trying to end Alabama’s College Football Playoff hopes in the Iron Bowl this weekend at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Nick Saban’s bunch comes off a 66-10 victory at Bryant-Denny Stadium over Chattanooga.

Crimson Tide fans are not buying Freeze’s comment. They are locked into the Tigers playing their best against the Tide. Auburn could be 0-11 heading into the Iron Bowl, but its best comes out versus its in-state rival. The Tigers could have Alabama limping into the Southeastern Conference Championship against Georgia if it wins. Alabama fans sounded off on Freeze via Twitter.
