Alabama’s starting quarterback Jalen Milroe is always focusing on getting better and this week is no different as he is looking to correct mistakes he feels were made against Chattanooga ahead of the Iron Bowl.
Milroe was asked Monday how a loss like Auburn took to New Mexico State can impact a team, and the Alabama QB revealed he has only been focused on the Crimson Tide continuing to improve.
“We got to fix some things from Chattanooga,” said Milroe. “That’s number one. We got to fix some things from that game and see some things we need to improve on moving forward and we have to worry about the task at hand. The task at hand is really to improve from this past weekend, try to clean some things up from that game. I got to do a better job on my end, being a better quarterback for the team, and we’ll worry about Auburn as we approach them this week. But, We know that we have a tough task going into Auburn this weekend, and we’re excited for the challenge.”
This Saturday will be the first time Milroe starts at quarterback in the Iron Bowl.
