Alabama has been stuck at No. 8 in the College Football Playoff rankings since they first debuted this season.
Some believe the Crimson Tide won’t make the CFP even with an SEC Championship victory over Georgia. Others, however, feel Alabama will get in if it takes care of the Bulldogs. Nick Saban’s team emerged from Jordan-Hare Stadium last week with a 27-24 victory in the Iron Bowl. Alabama did not have its best performance, but Jalen Milroe found Isaiah Bond when it mattered in the left corner of the end zone for a 31-yard touchdown. The play happened on fourth down with 31 yards to go in the fourth quarter.

An SEC Champion has never been left out of the College Football Playoff.
Tide fans want to see Alabama handle Georgia, but they did react on Twitter to remaining at No. 8 in the rankings.
The playoff committee really hates Bama but all Bama has to do is beat Georgia. They won’t keep the Tide out if they win

This won’t happen and nobody probably cares but if you’re wanting the 4 best teams in the country they’re Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, and Texas imo

Florida State without Jordan Travis is very clearly not a top 4 team, even with a win over Louisville they shouldn’t be in. Don’t think Boob Corrigan and the committee will have the balls to leave out an undefeated P5 champ though
