He has gone from a perceived liability to getting a Daniel Moore painting.

Jalen Milroe is in a special status of Alabama players. His heroics in the Iron Bowl on a 31-yard, game-winning touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond will be commemorated in a painting. Milroe directed Bond to the left corner of the end zone on Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the score. He delivered a beautiful ball to a spot where only Bond could create separation and make the catch. Alabama secured a 27-24 victory, keeping its College Football Playoff hopes alive. Milroe’s efforts put fans in the mind of Bryce Young’s clutch fourth-quarter drive versus Auburn in 2021 and Tua Tagovailoa’s scoring toss to DeVonta Smith on “2nd and 26” in the 2018 CFP National Championship Game against Georgia. Moore is calling the painting “Fourth & Thirty-One.”

His pencil sketch of the painting will be ready in two weeks.
