WATCH: Jermaine Burton scores crucial TD before the half vs. Georgia

Mandatory Credit: Gary Cosby Jr.-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama went into the half against Georgia with a big boost from its offense.

With 48 seconds to go, quarterback Jalen Milroe found wide receiver Jermaine Burton for a 15-yard touchdown extending the Crimson Tide’s lead 17-7.

The play likely holds even more significance to Burton who began his career with the Bulldogs before transferring to Alabama last season.

Georgia will start with the ball to begin the second half of action.
