Alabama goes into the College Football Playoff as one of the four best teams.
The CFP Committee put the Crimson Tide in the field after its 27-24 victory over Georgia in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game. Alabama returns to the playoff after missing out on it last year. Coach Nick Saban has nine SEC Championships as the Tide’s head man, and now he pursues his eighth national championship.
Alabama fans are joyous on Twitter with its team making the playoff.
