Terrion Arnold knows it was a difficult decision to leave Florida State out of the College Football Playoff, and he has empathy for the Seminole players.
Arnold, who is a native of Tallahassee, Florida, grew up a fan of Florida State. The Seminoles were very involved in his recruitment before he ultimately committed and signed with the Crimson Tide.
The roots of his early fandom have the Alabama cornerback ready to step up for Alabama nation and the Florida State football players in the playoff.
“We’re very, very fortunate to get in, and I felt some type of way even about Florida State cause I’m from Tallahassee, Florida, and I feel like it’s just one of those things where even like me talking to Jordan Travis. I just got done talking to Keon Coleman, guys like that. It is something that you want to go out there and play for,” Arnold said on ‘The Paul Finebaum Show.’ “Even them not being able to get in, I’m gonna go out there and play for my guys and play for Bama nation, but even play for them too, being from Tallahassee.”
Arnold will have his shot in the College Football Playoff Semifinals.
