The NCAA transfer portal has opened and Alabama football has a player testing the waters.
Tyler Buchner, a former Notre Dame transfer, has entered the portal again. He came to the University of Alabama after spring practice and some thought he would win the starting quarterback job. Buchner got a starting opportunity in week three of the college football season against South Florida. Alabama earned a 17-3 victory, but Buchner struggled in the matchup.

Ty Simpson had to come off the bench and rally the team to a win. Buchner is going to play lacrosse, according to several reports.
Alabama fans are reacting to Buchner’s decision on social media.
For anyone doubting this is Nick Saban’s best coaching job ever, he literally was forced to start a lacrosse player at QB at one point this season because he had no better options, and still ended up winning the SEC in the end.
That’s some GOAT s**t right there 😂😂 https://t.co/RMlgAV58FQ
