Coach Saban earned his ninth SEC Championship last week, but he has an opportunity to win a CFP National Championship this season. He is a semifinalist for the George Munger Coach of the Year Award, which the Maxwell Football Club presents.

Saban won this honor in 2016, the year he guided the Crimson Tide to an SEC title and a berth in the CFP title game.

The 72-year-old is also an Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award finalist.

He has the Tide ready to take on Michigan in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
