Clay-Chalkville and Saraland put on a thriller for the 6A State Championship on Friday night, and a pair of Alabama commits dominated in the matchup.
Jaylen Mbakwe and Ryan Williams are both committed to Alabama and both are considered five-star recruits. They were responsible for every touchdown scored in the 6A state title game.
Mbakwe took home the MVP Award after leading the Cougars to a 31-28 win over the Spartans to win the championship. He finished the game with 282 all-purpose yards, three rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown.
