The four finalists for this year’s Heisman Memorial Trophy presentation are in New York City.

College football fans will see Saturday night who wins between Jayden Daniels (quarterback, LSU), Michael Penix Jr. (quarterback, Washington), Bo Nix (quarterback, Oregon), and Marvin Harrison Jr. (wide receiver, Ohio State).

Jalen Milroe added his name to the conversation in his performance against LSU.

The sophomore quarterback for Alabama turned in quality numbers in the second half of the season. He has 2,718 passing yards, 468 rushing yards, 35 total touchdowns, and six interceptions. Milroe accounted for two touchdown passes in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game, propelling the Crimson Tide to a 27-24 victory over Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

He has the Tide in the College Football Playoff as the No. 4 seed taking on Michigan in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. Some believe Milroe should be in New York for the presentation, but he’s focused on winning a CFP National Championship.

He finished just outside the top five in the Heisman voting, coming in at No. 6. Milroe can use this as motivation for next season to become the second quarterback in the Nick Saban era to capture the Heisman for Alabama.

The native Texan is excited to continue Alabama’s journey in the CFP.
