Alabama football fans are excited about potentially getting the best in-state talent in a long time.
Ryan Williams, a five-star wide receiver from Sarland (Ala.) High School, turned in an incredible junior season that nearly finished with a Class 6A State Championship. He put on a show in the 6A State Championship Game against Clay-Chalkville, totaling 11 catches for 232 receiving yards. Williams set a Class 6A and an overall Super 7 record for catches and yards.
He recorded four total touchdowns — two receiving, one rushing, and one kickoff return — but his news to reclassify to the 2024 recruiting class has Alabama fans jumping. Williams, a Crimson Tide commit, has people saying he is a generational talent.
Alabama fans reacted on Twitter to his decision to reclassify.
