We have a our first Michigan alum speaking confidently on the Wolverines chances against Alabama three weeks before the Rose Bowl.
Taylor Lewan was one of the most decorative players in Michigan’s history.
A talented offensive tackle, he played from 2009 to 2013 for the Wolverines — earning first-team All-American honors (2012, 2013) twice, Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year (2012, 2013) twice, and making first-team All-Big Ten three times.
Lewan was the No. 11 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. He spent nine seasons (2014-22) there, becoming a three-time NFL Pro Bowl selection. Lewan cleared the way for Derrick Henry, a former Alabama standout, to become a monster running back in the league, but he holds true to the maize and blue. He believes his Alma mater should have no issues with Alabama.
Lewan shared on social media that Michigan should beat the Crimson Tide by ‘double digits’ in the CFP Semifinal matchup.
We will see what happens on the big stage between Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh.
