The University of Alabama faced Texas in 2022 and this year early in the college football season, but now it will face another program joining the Southeastern Conference.
Alabama plays Oklahoma next year, and the date has been unveiled.

The Crimson Tide shared on its social media that it faces the Sooners on Nov. 23, 2024. Nick Saban and the Tide will travel to Norman (Okla.) to face Brent Venables on the road. Coach Saban had his last meeting against Oklahoma in the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl to finish the 2013 season. Bob Stoops, the Sooners’ head coach at the time, earned a 45-31 victory over Alabama.

Derrick Henry, a former Tide running back, had a marquee performance, but Trevor Knight dominated for the Sooners.
He totaled 348 passing yards and four touchdowns. Alabama has a gauntlet of a schedule next season as it faces Oklahoma, Tennesee, LSU, Georgia, and Auburn. Saban is focused on trying to win his eighth national championship of his coaching tenure.
