Alabama football fans will have an experienced quarterback for next season.
Jalen Milroe is not testing the waters of the NFL Draft after this campaign is over. Some had the idea of the redshirt sophomore pursuing the NFL Draft if he performs well in the College Football Playoff, but the native Texan ended that rumor. Miroe announced Thursday on The Next Round Show that he will return to the University of Alabama for the 2024 season.

He had a remarkable year, totaling 2,718 passing yards, 468 rushing yards, and 35 touchdowns. Milroe propelled Alabama to a Southeastern Conference Championship and has it back in the College Football Playoff. He received several awards at the Crimson Tide’s annual awards banquet, including permanent team captain honors and Most Valuable Player honors.
