Thompson freshman DE Cameron Pritchett earns Alabama offer

Cameron Pritchett reported an offer from Alabama football Thursday to social media.

Pritchett is a freshman at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He now holds nine offers, including previous offers from Texas, Michigan and Florida State.

The 2027 prospect said he felt grateful when he found out he had earned an offer from the Crimson Tide.

“My first initial thought was wow,” Pritchett told Touchdown Alabama. “All I could do was thank God. It’s a very good program. Alabama produces the most NFL players in the sec and everyday at practice, the players go against some of the best of the best.”

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is a two-sport athlete for the Warriors as he also plays basketball. On the gridiron, he is an athletic edge defender.

“I feel I’m good at getting to the quarterback and being able to use my speed and hustling any chance I get to be able to stop the run,” Pritchett said when discussing what he does well.
