It was not always pretty, but his mentality to let all naysayers know (LANK) propelled him to push the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and the College Football Playoff. Milroe, a native of Katy, Texas, has 35 total touchdowns and 3,186 total yards. He won Most Valuable Player of the SEC Championship Game, MVP honors from the team at Alabama’s awards banquet, and permanent team captain honors. Milroe finished sixth in the Heisman Trophy race, and now he’s a finalist for another top offensive player award. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder is in the running for the Earl Campbell-Tyler Rose Award.

The Earl Campbell honor goes to the top offensive player from the state of Texas.

Milroe has turned in his best performances on the field since the Ole Miss game.

He’s placed Alabama in the Rose Bowl against Michigan with an opportunity to advance to the CFP National Championship Game. Milroe announced on The Next Round Show he will return to school for the 2024 season.
