How Alabama commits performed in Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game

Alabama football commits came up big in Team Alabama’s 26-17 win over Team Mississippi in the 2023 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.

The Crimson Tide were represented in the annual game with six future Alabama players suiting up for Team Alabama. Each of them put up notable performances.

Ryan Williams took home the MVP Award after he pulled in two touchdown receptions on 92 yards and eight receptions. He lived up to his lofty ranking and potential, per usual.

Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. was just as deserving of the MVP Award with his head-turning defensive performance. The Gadsden City product and Alabama legacy proved he was the definition of an opportunist with his two interceptions, punt block, force fumble and recovery.

Jeremiah Beaman, Alabama’s four-star defensive lineman commit, was a terror to the Team Mississippi quarterbacks. He wrapped up his day with two sacks.

Alabama’s linebacker commit, Quinton Reese was a constant presence against the run as he met ball carriers in the hole on multiple occasions. He finished the game with eight tackles.

Mbakwe lined up at his future position for Alabama at cornerback, and he flashed in coverage with his ability to go stride-to-stride with talented wide receivers and get down hill and make tackles.

The Tides offensive lineman commit, Will Sanders paved the way for some big Team Alabama runs, including their first score of the game as an offensive guard.
