Jalen Hurts has the Philadelphia Eagles leading the NFC East at 10-3.

He has been dealing with an illness since Thursday of last week, but he unveiled his status for Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks. Taylor Bisciotti of NFL Network reports Hurts is “going to try and play.”

He had a normal fever with chills and body aches, but the native Texan is going to push through it.

Hurts has 3,192 passing yards, 31 total touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Philadelphia has clinched a spot in the NFC playoffs, but it would love to have a divisional championship and the No. 1 overall seed heading into the postseason. It has to fend off the Dallas Cowboys for the divisional crown, and hope the San Francisco 49ers (11-3) or Detroit Lions (10-4) lose another game to get the No. 1 seed. Hurts is prepared to power Philadelphia to a victory over Seattle to keep its position or advance in the playoffs.
