Alabama fans react to Crimson Tide getting a former 5-star edge rusher from NCAA transfer portal

Nick Saban strikes again for the University of Alabama football program in the NCAA transfer portal.

According to On3Sports, Alabama grabbed a former five-star edge rusher from Texas A&M.

LT Overton, a native Georgian, committed to the Aggies in its top-ranked 2022 recruiting class.

He played two seasons under Jimbo Fisher and has two years of eligibility left. Overton entered his name into the transfer portal shortly after Texas A&M fired Fisher. He visited the Crimson Tide on last week and loved what he saw. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder joins a deep and talented outside linebacker room.

Overton recorded 48 total tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, and eight quarterback hurries in 23 games.
