Sterling Dixon signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama.
Dixon is a product of Spanish Fort High School, and he is considered a four-star recruit. He is currently experiencing Rose Bowl prep with the Crimson Tide, but he is not participating due to a recent shoulder surgery.
The in-state prospect chose Alabama over Auburn, LSU and others. He recently told Touchdown Alabama he is excited to get his college football journey started.
“This is everything I dreamed of,” Dixon said. “This was what I prayed to God for. It’s what me and my family work for, and it’s here. Now, it’s time for me to get to work and just try to pursue my dreams. I wanna be a freshman All-American, I want to win a national championship and I want to get to the NFL. I’m just laser-focused right now and that’s the biggest thing.”
The Crimson Tide plans to use Dixon in a variety of ways as he is a hybrid linebacker prospect with experience rushing from the edge and playing off the ball.
