It’s pen to paper yet again for the Crimson Tide as Casey Poe has officially signed with Alabama.

The talented OL out of the Lone Star state projects as an interior offensive lineman with his 6-foot-4, 290-pound frame. Poe is rated as one of the best interior offensive lineman in the country.

The elite lineman is already in Tuscaloosa, going through Rose Bowl prep with the team.

Poe told Touchdown Alabama he is excited for Bowl Practices to ‘learn the team, learn the coaches, learn the atmosphere, learn everything.’ Poe also mentioned being able to participate in bowl practices making him feel like he is ‘able to get a competitive edge over other people from other teams.’

Poe also talked to Touchdown Alabama about why he chose the Crimson Tide.

“I got recruited by a lot of different schools and a lot of different great coaches,” said Poe. “I’m super thankful for all those different opportunities that I have. Every one of those schools meant a lot to me in that they reached out and gave me an opportunity and they wanted to see me be successful. I can never be grateful enough for that, but Alabama pulled ahead for me for the simple reason of, I’ll never be the best guy in the locker room. If I want to go do something great in the NFL, I can’t get content with being an average to good college offensive lineman.”
