Jaylen Mbakwe made it official with Alabama football and signed a National Letter of Intent.
Mbakwe is a 2024 five-star recruit out of Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama. He is set to enroll as an early enrolle in January.
The in-state recruit has proven he is one of the nation’s most versatile prospect. Mbakwe has had success while lining up at quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back for the Cougars. He is also a star track runner, who took home the 6A 100-meter state championship last spring.
