Nick Saban and Alabama football make it a priority to sign a quarterback in each recruiting class, and it is safe to say they are happy to have Julian Sayin on board.
Sayin is officially an Alabama football player after signing a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday. The consensus five-star is currently going through Rose Bowl prep with the Crimson Tide.
Saban was asked about Sayin Wednesday, and he dove the into many reasons the California product stands out.
“Julian is an outstanding player,” Saban said. “Ball comes out of his hand really nice. He’s accurate, he’s smart. He’s had a great high school career and been one of the best players, most productive players in the country on a very consistent basis. We like him a lot. I tell all players you really got to focus on your development. That’s the most important thing. What are you going to become? I think he’s got the right mindset to do that.”
The five-star finished his senior season with 2,320 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns while only throwing one interception.
