The Miami Dolphins have clinched a AFC playoff berth in National Football Football League at 11-4, but could its explosive offensive attack be without a superstar playmaker for the rest of the regular season?
Jaylen Waddle, a University of Alabama alumnus, caught one pass for 50 yards in Sunday’s 22-20 victory for the Dolphins against the Dallas Cowboys. He is the first wide receiver in franchise history to post three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, but the 2020 College Football Playoff National Champion suffered an injury on Christmas Eve.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Waddle sustained a “high ankle sprain” versus Dallas. Rapoport got the information from Dolphins’ head coach, Mike McDaniel, who stated “those can be tricky.” Waddle’s status for the remainder of the regular season is in doubt.
He is second on the team for receiving yards (1,014) with four touchdowns on 72 receptions.
#Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said WR Jaylen Waddle has high-ankle sprain and added, “Those can be tricky.”
This puts his availability for the rest of the regular season in doubt.

Alabama fans want him to have a smooth recovery, but Waddle looks to continue playing well.
Miami travels to play the Baltimore Ravens on New Year’s Eve. Hopefully, Waddle will be good to go.
