Alabama football is trending toward having a healthy running back room for the Rose Bowl.
Four offensive players for the Crimson Tide spoke on Thursday during media availability, including Jase McClellan.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban updated reporters on McClellan’s (foot) status before the team flew to California.
The team is continuing its preparation for Michigan in a College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup on New Year’s Day.
He shared McClellan is doing better and performing dry land running. Saban has shared since then that McClellan should play in the Rose Bowl, barring any setbacks. The senior and native Texan continued the positivity in his press conference.
McClellan said he feels 100 percent.
“I’m still getting time under me,” he said. “There’s still a couple more days till game time so it’s even better.”
He suffered a foot injury against Auburn in the Iron Bowl during the regular season. Saban mentioned it was the same foot that gave McClellan lingering issues. The former four-star dressed out and participated in pregame warmup for the Tide in the Southeastern Conference Championship versus Georgia, but he did not play. McClellan feels a lot better heading into the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. He leads Alabama in rushing attempts (166) and rushing yards (803) with six touchdowns.
Tyler Booker, a sophomore offensive lineman, said he’s excited to watch McClellan next Monday.
“Jase looks great,” Booker said on Thursday.
McClellan looks to open 2024 by putting on a show against the Wolverines.
