Goodwine was a part of the 2021 recruiting cycle for the Crimson Tide and was a four-star prospect.
During his three seasons at Alabama, the redshirt sophomore appeared in five games but did not record any tackles.
Goodwine is one of nine former members of the Crimson Tide to enter the transfer portal following its defeat to Michigan in the College Football Playoff.
The nine players entering the portal this week include Goodwine, wide receivers Shazz Preston and Malik Benson, tight end Miles Kitselman, quarterback Eli Holstein, starting center Seth McLaughlin, offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson and defensive backs Earl Litte and Kristian Story.
