Ferguson was a key reserve offensive lineman for the Crimson Tide as he appeared in six games during the 2023 campaign which included his first career start against USF where he aided the offense in rushing for 203 yards. He would also miss time during the year as he battled a high ankle sprain against Ole Miss.
The redshirt sophomore is now the fourth Alabama player to enter the transfer portal in its extended window following the Crimson Tide’s loss to Michigan in the College Football Playoff. Ferguson now joins wide receiver Shazz Preston, tight end Miles Kitselman and offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin.
