Alabama football fans are trying to move forward after seeing its team suffer a disappointing loss to Michigan in the Rose Bowl.
The Crimson Tide held a 20-13 lead on Monday with 4:41 left in regulation against the Wolverines.

Alabama had an advantage on the scoreboard over Michigan despite many self-inflicted mistakes. Nick Saban’s defense could not get a three-and-out on J.J. McCarthy, Blake Corum, and the Wolverines. Michigan would tie the game at 20, force overtime, and win in the fifth quarter.
Several Tide players walked off the field in tears, frustration, pain, and agony knowing their dream of a College Football Playoff National Championship died. Some have decisions to make regarding the NFL Draft or returning to school for the 2024 season. Terrion Arnold, a starting cornerback for Alabama, said the team ‘let the Rose Bowl slip away.’
Alabama DB @ArnoldTerrion on the Michigan game: “We had prepared and saw everything. They did nothing special, it was just one of those things I feel like in the last four minutes we let it slip away from us.”

“We had prepared and saw everything,” Arnold said Wednesday on 3 Man Front. “They did nothing special, it was just one of those things. I feel like in the last four minutes we let it slip away from us.”
Coach Saban has been a defensive guru throughout his coaching tenure. It hurts that the side of the football he specializes in failed to secure a victory in the Rose Bowl. Michigan’s final drive of regulation started on its 25-yard line as McCarthy took the Wolverines 75 yards on eight plays. Roman Wilson, a wide receiver for Michigan, finished the drive with a 4-yard touchdown.
Michigan outscored Alabama, 14-10, in the second half. Saban has to regroup for next season.
