Former Alabama quarterback Eli Holstein announced on Sunday that he is officially transferring to Pittsburgh to continue his football journey.

Holstein entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this week following the Crimson Tide’s loss to Michigan in the College Football Playoff. He spent one season at Alabama after joining as a four-star recruit in the 2023 cycle.
Alabama returns a loaded quarterback room in 2024 that includes starter Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson, Dylan Lonergan and five-star freshman Julian Sayin.
