Alabama head coach Nick Saban has seen several Crimson Tide players enter the NCAA transfer portal after losing to Michigan.
Two players that entered the portal became a huge shock for the Tide fan base.

Defensive backs Earl Little II (committed to Florida State) and Jake Pope came in with marquee potential. Pope, a redshirt freshman, arrived in the 2022 signing class from Buford (Ga.) High School as a four-star prospect. He redshirted his initial freshman season and had Tide fan excited about him after he laid a jaw-dropping hit on wide receiver Jermaine Burton in the 2023 A-Day Game. Pope decided to take his talents elsewhere, and Alabama fans reacted to the news on social media.
I knew this was gonna happen when he didn’t play that much this yr https://t.co/j6rPhkrIuv

The Tide signed several defensive back in its 2024 class. Hopefully, Alabama has multiple players to emerge.
