He’s led the team into the AFC playoffs and did it with the most impressive stat among quarterbacks.

Tagovailoa, a University of Alabama alumnus, finished the regular season as the National Football League’s leader for passing yards. He totaled 4,624 yards on tossing a shade below (69.3) a 70 percent completion rating. Tagovailoa finished tied for fifth in the league for touchdown passes (29), sixth for passer rating (101.1), and 10th for quarterback rating (60.5). The native Hawaiian has an opportunity to push the Dolphins on a deep playoff run to the Super Bowl. Jalen Hurts, Tagovailoa’s former teammate for the Crimson Tide, nearly captured a Super Bowl Championship with the Philadelphia Eagles last year. Tagovailoa was one of the most decorative quarterbacks college football.

He eyes a chance to have success in the NFL postseason.
