Alabama football players have turned the page from 2023 and are looking forward to spring practice.

Two talented in-state prospects are getting acclimated to the culture of going to class.
Jeremiah Beaman and Jaylen Mbakwe shared a video to Instagram of them walking to their first day of class together. Beaman, a four-star defensive lineman, was a leader at Parker High School in Birmingham, Ala. He was an all-state performer who participated in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder has an opportunity to develop into a marquee lineman for the Tide under Freddie Roach.
Mbakwe, a five-star athlete, will play defensive back for the Tide.
He did everything at Clay-Chalkville High School as a native of Pinson, Ala. Mbakwe helped his team win a Class 6A State Championship in 2023, contributing at quarterback, wide receiver, defensive back, and return specialist. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder is an explosive playmaker. Travaris Robinson, Alabama’s secondary coach, has a great talent to coach up.
