Former U.S. Secretary of State wishes Nick Saban well in retirement

The news of Nick Saban retiring has made it around the United States.

Condoleezza Rice, a former U.S. Secretary of State, gives her best wishes to Coach Saban and Miss Terry in retirement.

Rice, the current director of Hoover Institution at Stanford University, is a native of Birmingham, Ala. She served on the inaugural College Football Playoff Committee from 2014 to 2016. Rice saw the Crimson Tide win three Southeastern Conference Championships (2014-16) and a College Football Playoff National Championship (2015) during her time on the CFP Committee.
