Steve Sarkisian posted a thank you to Nick Saban and Pete Carroll Wednesday when news broke both were stepping way from their well-respected coaching roles.
Sarkisian was on USC’s staff when Carroll was the head coach of the Trojans. He served on Alabama’s staff in two different stints with his latest one coming in 2019 when he was Alabama’s offensive coordinator.

Sarkisian is considered a candidate to replace Saban.
