Alabama’s search for Nick Saban’s replacement may be coming to an end.
According to ESPN, Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer is currently negotiating a deal to become the next head coach of the Crimson Tide.
An agreement is yet to be officially announced.
DeBoer is coming off a strong season with the Huskies who made an appearance in the CFP National Championship where it lost to Michigan. He has a career coaching record of 37-9 at the Division I level of college football.
After Saban’s retirement on Wednesday, DeBoer became one of the top targets for the job.
