Mike Norvell has four former Alabama players on his roster at Florida State University.
He pulled Malik Benson (wide receiver), Earl Little II (defensive back), Terrence Ferguson (offensive lineman), and now Roydell Williams (running back) from the NCAA transfer portal. Williams, a native of Hueytown, Ala., committed to the Seminoles as his transfer destination. He came to the Crimson Tide as a four-star in the 2020 signing class, helping Alabama win three Southeastern Conference Championships (2020-21, 2023) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020.

He brought toughness, versatility, and leadership to the Tide’s running back room. Williams also can catch passes out of the backfield and is an exceptional special teams player. He looks to be a difference maker with the Seminoles in Tallahassee, Fla.
