The longest-tenured football staffer isn’t going anywhere.
Jeff Allen, Alabama’s Director of Sports Medicine, shared on social media that he is not leaving the program with the arrival of new head football coach Kalen DeBoer.
No need to come “fight everyone” @nickbgentry! 🤣🤣🤣 It’s all good! It’s Roll Tide forever with me! Beyond thankful to have the opportunity to serve Coach DeBoer and watch him lead this program! RTR! Go Bama! https://t.co/Repq5vMzUM

Allen is now one of four Nick Saban staffers to be retained as he joins defensive line coach Freddie Roach, running backs coach Robert Gillespie and director of sports performance David Ballou who also made his announcement official on social media.
Allen has spent 17 seasons at Alabama and is the final original member of Saban’s staff after he retired last Wednesday.
He serves as the Crimson Tide’s head athletic trainer but is also amongst one of the most beloved figures in the program by both fans and players.
