In his introductory press conference as Alabama’s new head coach, Kalen DeBoer made Crimson Tide alums happy.

DeBoer wants former Alabama players to feel welcomed returning to the program. He stated how the Tide needs the alumni to come together and help Alabama to be the best it can be. Dylan Moses, a former Tide linebacker, took DeBoer up on his offer.

The Baton Rouge (La.) native recently visited the University of Alabama to work out.

Moses, a former five-star in the Crimson Tide’s 2017 recruiting class, was on two College Football Playoff National Championship teams (2017, 2020). Injuries kept him from becoming an explosive superstar, but Moses did record a team-high 80 total tackles in 2020. He also had 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three pass breakups, a forced fumble, and an interception in 2020. The first-team All-SEC selection in 2020 was not selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he did make the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad.

Moses signed with the Memphis Showboats of the United States Football League (USFL) on Nov. 1, 2023.
