Dyllon Williams reported his first SEC offer from Kentucky Tuesday to social media, and his recruitment looks like it is about to get rolling in major way.

Williams attends Demopolis High School in Demopolis, Alabama, and he is a 2025 defensive back prospect. His offer total now sits at two with a recent offer from UCF to give him two Power 5 offers.

The junior is grateful his recruitment is underway.

“It feels great to have an SEC offer, especially from a well-coached team like Kentucky,” Williams told Touchdown Alabama after the Wildcats offered.

Several other programs are beginning to show interest in the talented defensive back.

“Penn State, Southern Miss and Georgia Tech,” Williams said when asked which programs are showing interest in him.

At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Williams seeks out the football with great closing speed when working downfield from the secondary to help in run support. He attacks plays all over the field and excels at making open-field tackles. He also flashes an ability to go step-to-step with wide receivers.

“I feel my ability to run with the receiver and make tackles are my strengths,” said Williams.

The Demopolis product finished his junior season with 41 tackles, five pass break ups and two interceptions.
