Despite being a year removed, former Georgia linebacker David Pollack can’t escape the internet’s clutches following his comments from the 2023 national championship between the Bulldogs and TCU. During the College Gameday broadcast, Pollack stated that Georgia had “taken over college football” right as it became a back-to-back champion that night.
The clip immediately went viral, not only because of the definitive statement of Pollack but because of the stoic reaction of Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who was sitting directly next to him during the segment.
Since that clip, Saban certainly got the last laugh over Georgia nation as he would defeat the Bulldogs in his final SEC Championship win before retiring.
But this past week Saban would also sign on to join ESPN and College Gameday this season, as Pollack was a part of the company layoffs in 2023.
Following the news, Nick Saban’s daughter, Kristen Saban Setas reignited the clip to troll Pollack one last time.
