News broke early Saturday morning that Alabama would be back in the search for a new offensive coordinator as Ryan Grubb agreed to join the Seattle Seahawks in the same role.
But now Grubb isn’t the only member of Kalen DeBoer’s Crimson Tide staff to be making the trip back out west.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, Alabama’s new offensive line coach Scott Huff is also expected to join the staff out in Seattle.

The loss of Huff would leave a second sizeable hole in a staff that has been at Alabama for less than a month.
Last season while with Washington, Huff was able to produce a Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line with the Huskies protecting star quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Accompanied by Grubb’s scheme, the Huskies had one of the top offensive units in the country which propelled it to the national championship game.
Lack of consistency on the offensive line, as well as the entire unit as a whole, plagued the Crimson Tide last season which ranked 40th in total offense while the line allowed 30 sacks on the season according to Pro Football Focus.
Both Huff and Grubb were expected to get things back on track this season, but now DeBoer will likely be back on the hunt to fill his coaching staff.
